La Tzoumaz is nestled in a valley to the left side of the Rhone at an altitude of 1500m meaning that during the winter La Tzoumaz has a magnitude of exciting sports and activities on offer for all ages and abilities.
 

Skiing

With La Tzoumaz occupying the valley station of the new Savoleyres Telecabin cable car (8 seated) the magnitude of skiing on offer for all abilities is fabulous. An array of ski tows, chair lifts and cable cars enable you to take advantage and explore the rest of the 4 Valley region- Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz. The 4 Valleys form one of the largest ski domains in Switzerland with over 400km of piste, this means you might need another holiday to rest after spending a week skiing the 4 Valley’s!

For those of you that are beginners need to find their ski legs or small children then La Tzoumaz is perfect for learning. The nursery slope along with a small café provides a perfect location for the first days learning before you progress to the more experienced slopes.
 

Snowboarding

La Tzoumaz is renowned for its wide winding slopes, perfect for both beginners and experienced snow boarders. All of the lifts throughout the 4 Valleys have had snowboarders in mind during constructions- so no problems there with getting onto and off the lifts!

Luge

La Tzoumaz has a famous 10km Luge run, so if you fancy a break from skiing or snowboarding for an afternoon this is definitely something different!
 

Hiking/walking (Raquettes)

If you prefer to keep your feet slightly firmer on the ground then taking a walk or hike up the mountains surrounding the chalet will provide you with a perfect get-a-way! Alternatively you can take the Telecabin to the top of the mountain and take a leisurely walk back down stopping at the Cafes and Bars along your way.
 

Ice skating

During the winter months La Tzoumaz provides a small but fun ice rink, so if a whole day of skiing inst enough or if you are in need of something extra to tire out the children then this is a perfect evening activity.
 

Indoor swimming pool

La Tzoumaz indoor swimming pool is another activity that you might want to take advantage of to relax those aching muscles!


Skiing and snowboarding lessons can be booked through the La Tzoumaz ski school.
